Hello

I created Yankee Doodle Design as a way to share my passion for the two things I love most, art and the city of Boston.  (Hence the name Yankee Doodle).

I produce repetitive, seamless design patterns from my watercolor paintings and graphics that I hand draw on my iPad.

My work is simple, clean, coastal and (mostly) for kids and the young at heart.

If you’re looking for fabric, wallpaper or any household dry goods, I humbly ask that you take a peek at my portfolio here on my website, or at any number of the online shops listed below.  Don’t see what you’re looking for?  Not a problem. I’m happy to mock up some designs that will be better suited for what you’re looking for.

Thanks for checking out my work!
Have a wicked good day.

My Story

Tracey Wheeler Noonan is a Boston based commercial photographer and water color artist.

Her style captures her love of color, cartoon like qualities and a real New England coastal vibe.

While the bulk of her work has been used in children’s nurseries, bedrooms and playrooms, she also has a following of kids at heart who love her clean and simple patterns and use of color.

Tracey has been featured on abc’s Shark Tank, as well as many other daytime shows with her youngest daughter, Dani. Her experience as an entrepreneur has helped her to really dig into her customer’s visions, as a means to create the perfect fabric, wallpaper or houseware patterns that people have come to know and love.

Tracey now resides in the tiny South Coastal community of Padanaram Village, in a 1810 Gothic Style Farmhouse she redesigned.

She can also be found on the beach with her two dogs, Axel and Rudi or tooling around town in her classic, 1961 Corvette named Betty.
